Hellblade 2 artist creates Starfield-inspired Unreal 5 demo

Unfortunately, we’re now even further ahead of its release date, but that hasn’t stopped an artist from Ninja Theory from creating their own Starfield demo in Unreal Engine 5 — before we can get back to any of the eagerly anticipated RPG games. To see the gameplay, actually.

Pasquale Scionti is a senior lighting and lookadev artist currently working on Ninja Theory on Hellblade 2, which you saw absolutely gorgeous in this gameplay demo last December. In his spare time, Scionti likes to create Unreal 4 and 5 demos to show what popular games can look like in the engine, such as Silent Hill either elden ring,

In Scionti’s latest demo, he basically created his own Unreal Engine 5 space game, which he says is “inspired by Mass Effect and Starfield”. The results are surprising, showing a character in an astronaut suit like Starfield exploring a planet similar to Mars, as the spacecraft spins overhead and a robotic drill-like machine prepares to mine in a nearby lake. it occurs. Scionti describes the demo as a work-in-progress, which – in view of his past works – This means that he will probably add more to it in the future.

You can watch the full, beautiful video below, and then be upset that we only have a short teaser and a few pieces of concept art to go with Starfield so far. With any luck, it will look just as good.

Despite the recent delays in both Starfield and Redfall, hopefully we’ll see gameplay from both games at Summer Game Fest next month.
