The Last of Us Part 1 video shows off impressive improvements in 4K versus PS5 graphics comparison

Today Naughty Dog released another video clip comparing the graphics of The Last of Us Part 1 to The Last of Us Remastered.

We get to see Boston docs on the PS5 better than the older version on the PS4, and this is one of the videos that best shows off the visual improvement.

The lighting, materials, and models all show big differences when on display alongside The Last of Us Remastered.

This follows another video released a few days back and another, which featured different scenes.

You can watch it below.

The Last of Us Part 1 will release for PS5 on September 2, with a PC version shortly thereafter.

If you’re unfamiliar with the game, it’s a “built for the ground up” remake for the PS5, according to the developers, which brings the ultra-popular 2013 classic to today’s standards.

You can check out the original reveal at the top of a comprehensive video showing more improvements made to visuals and gameplay, and another focusing on motion capture.

Incidentally, if you’re more interested in The Last of Us news, Naughty Dog is working on a new multiplayer experience that will feature new characters and story elements, but for now, we’ve only seen one piece of artwork.

The franchise will also get a television series to air on HBO, and while Ellie and Joel’s performance-captured actors Ashley Johnson and Troy Baker will not reprise hero roles, they will still have substantial roles.
